Ingredients
  

For the punch base
  • 2 packets Unsweetened Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid (0.13 oz each)
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 can Pineapple Juice (12 oz)
  • 1 can Frozen Lemonade Concentrate, thawed (12 oz)
  • 0.5 liter Sprite Can be substituted with lemon-lime soda or cranberry juice.
  • Ice
  • Red Sanding Sugar for glass rim (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour 2 quarts of water into a 1-gallon pitcher.
  2. Add the Kool-Aid mix and sugar, stirring continuously until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  3. Pour in the pineapple juice and thawed frozen lemonade concentrate, stirring thoroughly.
  4. Moisten the rim of each serving glass with water and dip it into red sanding sugar.
  5. Add ice cubes and the Sprite just before serving, stirring gently to mix.
  6. Pour the punch into prepared glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days. Non-fizzy base can be frozen without Sprite.
