Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cups milk (whole milk or 2%)
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces white chocolate chips Use high-quality for a richer flavor
Food Coloring
  • few drops green food coloring Add to desired color
  • few drops yellow food coloring Add to desired color

Preparation and Cooking
  1. In a slow cooker or large saucepan, add the heavy cream, milk, white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until well mixed.
  2. Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Once melted and creamy, add green and yellow food coloring a few drops at a time, stirring well after each addition until the desired color is achieved.
  4. Serve warm, topped with optional mini marshmallows, whipped cream, or festive sprinkles.
  5. For stovetop method, combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, heat over medium until simmering (5-10 minutes), and stir frequently. Do not boil.

Notes

Store leftover hot chocolate in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; it can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently and stir in milk if it becomes too thick.
