Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 lemons Juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess.
  • Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through. Experiment with different herbs or add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
