Toppings
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For spreading on the dough

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter For brushing on the knots and crust
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it forms a large circle.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce and layer on the pepperoni slices.
  5. Fold the outer edges of the dough towards the center, creating a stuffed crust.
  6. Tie portions of the dough into large knots and arrange them around the pizza’s edge.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  8. Brush the garlic butter mixture over both the knots and the crust.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Slice and serve hot.
