Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Layer sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  6. Carefully roll up the dough tightly to form a log.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces to create the garlic knots.
Baking
  1. Arrange the garlic knots in a greased cast-iron skillet or baking dish.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add minced garlic along with oregano and red pepper flakes.
  3. Brush this garlic butter mixture generously over the garlic knots.
  4. Top with grated Parmesan cheese for an extra layer of flavor.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
