Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Evenly spread the marinara sauce over the dough, ensuring to leave a border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese all over the sauce, then add the grated parmesan and chopped basil.
- Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Once rolled, twist it into a knot shape.
- Transfer the knot to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the pizza knot.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the knot is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
