Cooking the Steak
- Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a hot skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites in batches, searing each side for 1-2 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking.
- Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the remaining butter and garlic.
- Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
Cooking the Spaghetti
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In another saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until soft.
- Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add drained spaghetti and pasta water to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated and creamy.
Serving
- Plate the spaghetti and top generously with garlic butter steak bites.
- Serve hot.
Notes
