Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes Should be tender and fresh.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Divide for use in cooking.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing the steak.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnish.
For the Creamy Spaghetti
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup pasta water (reserved) Reserve before draining spaghetti.

Method
 

Cooking the Steak
  1. Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a hot skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak bites in batches, searing each side for 1-2 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking.
  4. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the remaining butter and garlic.
  6. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley.
Cooking the Spaghetti
  1. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In another saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until soft.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add drained spaghetti and pasta water to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated and creamy.
Serving
  1. Plate the spaghetti and top generously with garlic butter steak bites.
  2. Serve hot.

Notes

For an enjoyable dining experience, serve alongside a fresh garden salad or steamed vegetables. A sprinkle of extra Parmesan or crushed red pepper can add a delightful zest to the dish.
