Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella, can substitute with pepper jack or vegan cheese.
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter For extra flavor.
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
Optional Toppings
  • pickles, lettuce, etc. Feel free to customize with your favorite burger toppings.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then stir in the garlic butter until it’s melted and well combined.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into individual triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and some cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges tightly.
  7. Arrange the rollups on a baking sheet and bake according to the dough package instructions until they’re golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of optional toppings.

Notes

Best served with a side of crispy fries or fresh salad. Great for dipping with ranch, ketchup, or barbecue sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for a month.
