Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the powdered sugar until it appears light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until everything is blended.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for about a month.
