Ingredients

For the burger patties
  • 1 lb ground beef Use your preferred mix of beef
  • 1/4 cup Fireball Whiskey Adds a sweet flavor
For the toppings and assembly
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Can swap for pepper jack for spiciness
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Toasted for serving
  • 4 pieces jalapeños, sliced Grilled until tender
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Draped as drizzle

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with Fireball Whiskey, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equally sized burger patties.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Cooking
  1. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  2. While the burgers are cooking, add the sliced jalapeños to the grill. Grill them until they’re slightly charred and tender.
  3. Once the burgers are almost cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
Drizzle & Assembly
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the cream cheese over low heat until it melts and becomes smooth.
  2. To assemble, place a burger patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with grilled jalapeño slices and drizzle with the melted cream cheese.
  3. Finish with the top half of the bun and serve hot. Enjoy your new favorite burger!

Notes

For best results, refrigerate the patties for a bit after forming. You can modify the heat level by adjusting the amount of jalapeños and consider adding minced garlic or onion powder for extra flavor.
