  • 1 9-inch pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 cup eggnog can be substituted with non-dairy eggnog
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar can be replaced with sugar substitute
  • 3 large eggs ensure at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg freshly grated is recommended
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted ensure at room temperature
  • to taste whipped cream for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggnog, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and flour until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the melted butter until the mixture is fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the pie comes out clean.
  6. Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle a dash of ground nutmeg.

Notes

Eggnog Pie can be served with vanilla ice cream, spiced cookies, or drizzled with warm caramel sauce. To store, cover and refrigerate for 3-4 days; may freeze for longer storage.
