  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp milk Adjust for desired consistency.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Use good quality chocolate chips.
  • 1/4 tsp salt Omit if using salted butter.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
  • Stir in the milk until the dough reaches your desired consistency.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Serving

  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.

Notes

Can be served in a bowl or dessert cups, and is great with ice cream on top. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Variations include adding nuts or different flavored chips.
