Easy to Make Dog Treats

Ingredients
Peanut Butter Treat Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter Make sure it's dog-safe
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup ripe banana, mashed
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
Carrot Treat Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups carrots, washed and grated
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 extra large eggs
- 2 tbsp honey
Pumpkin Treat Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Yogurt Treat Ingredients
- 8 fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Instructions
Peanut Butter Dog Treats
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, egg, mashed banana, maple syrup, and flour until combined.
- Roll into small balls, flatten them slightly, and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Carrot Dog Treats
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the flour, baking powder, grated carrots, peanut butter, water, eggs, and honey until a dough forms.
- Shape your dough and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Pumpkin Dog Treats
- In a bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, applesauce, peanut butter, egg, flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Shape the mixture into treats and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
Yogurt Dog Treats
- Blend the strawberries and blueberries with the Greek yogurt.
- Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until solid.
Notes
Store these treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, place them in the fridge for up to two weeks. Yogurt dog treats can be stored in the freezer for even longer.
