  • 1 lb flank steak Slice into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha To taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish
  • White rice For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips and place it in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, Sriracha, and beef broth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
  4. Mix well and cover. Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the beef is tender.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked white rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra tenderness, marinate the flank steak in the sauce for a few hours before cooking. Feel free to add in vegetables during the last hour of cooking for a complete meal. Adjust the Sriracha according to your heat preference.
