  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni Substitute with turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Use a blend of cheeses for extra flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne, marinara sauce, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a simple salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
