Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 can canned peaches (420 gms)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon Adjust to taste
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (around 113 grams)
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the stick of butter in a baking dish (around 9×13 inches) and put it in the oven while it heats up, allowing the butter to melt. Alternatively, melt the butter in the microwave.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon together.
  • Add the milk to the dry mixture and stir until you have a smooth batter.
  • Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  • Gently pour the canned peaches along with their syrup on top of the batter and spread the peaches evenly without mixing them in.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Serving

  • Enjoy your peach cobbler warm with a dollop of ice cream or whipped cream!

Notes

Cover leftovers with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat individual servings before serving again. Make sure the butter is fully melted before adding the batter on top for a lovely, golden crust. Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon according to your taste.
