Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Do not grease the baking dish; the melted butter in the batter will keep it from sticking.
  • Spread peaches in an even layer in the dish.

Mixing the Batter

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, and vanilla until just combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the peaches; the batter will spread as it bakes.

Baking

  • Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  • Let the cobbler rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can serve Easy Peach Cobbler warm or at room temperature, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
