  • Place all the ingredients—nutritional yeast, olive oil, tamari or soy sauce, water, maple syrup, and garlic—into your blender or food processor.
  • Process the mixture until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency, typically around one minute.
  • If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit more water, a teaspoon at a time, blending after each addition until you achieve your desired texture.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust sweetness or saltiness by adding more maple syrup or tamari as preferred.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight jar and refrigerate. Best used within four days.

Notes
