Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the boxed cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and sour cream. Mix until well blended.
- Divide the batter into two separate bowls. Add food coloring to one bowl to create a red batter and to the other bowl for green.
Baking
- Alternate pouring spoonfuls of the red and green batter into the prepared bundt pan to create swirls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Glazing
- To make the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
- Optionally, top with holiday sprinkles before serving.
Notes
Ensure bundt pan is well-greased. For more flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Consider using additional holiday decorations like edible glitter.
