Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken (boneless, cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Oil (for frying)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 pcs Bell peppers (sliced, assorted colors)
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Green onions (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Coat the chicken cubes in cornstarch.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add bell peppers and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  • Mix soy sauce, chili sauce, and sugar in a bowl, then add to the pan.
  • Return the chicken to the pan, mixing well to coat in the sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Serve Dragon Chicken on its own or with rice or noodles. It pairs well with a cucumber salad or steamed vegetables. For storage, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze without sauce for up to three months.
