  • 1 cup almond flour Can replace with coconut flour or oat flour.
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener Use honey, maple syrup, or erythritol.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk Use your preferred type of milk.

Preparation

  • Preheat your waffle maker to ensure a crispy exterior.
  • In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients: eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a thick batter forms. Optionally add cinnamon or nutmeg.

Cooking

  • Lightly grease the waffle maker and pour the batter into the center.
  • Close the lid and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the chaffle is golden brown and crispy.
  • Carefully remove the chaffle and serve it warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Freeze leftover chaffles for a quick breakfast. Reheat in the toaster for best results.
