- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the chopped dill pickles, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
- Once combined, form the mixture into a ball or log shape with your hands.
- Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans until it’s fully coated.
- Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Serve chilled with crackers or cut vegetables.
Notes
For a creamier texture, allow cream cheese to come to room temperature before mixing. This cheese ball can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to a week. It also freezes well.
