Ingredients
  

For the Cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened) Use room temperature for best results.
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 large egg (at room temperature)
  • 2 tsp butter vanilla emulsion (or typical vanilla)
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk (start with 1 tbsp) Adjust for glaze consistency.
  • to taste pink food coloring Add gradually for desired color.
  • to taste rainbow sprinkles For decoration.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and butter vanilla emulsion, mixing well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining until just incorporated.
  • Roll the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  • For the pink glaze, mix the powdered sugar and milk together until smooth. Add pink food coloring a little at a time until you achieve the desired shade.
  • Once the cookies are cool, drizzle the pink glaze on top and finish with rainbow sprinkles.

Notes

Store Crumbl Pink Donut Cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days. Freeze unglazed cookies for up to three months.
