  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Swiss cheese (for topping)
  • 1 can French onion soup (for flavor)

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and a can of French onion soup. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, place slices of Swiss cheese on top of the meatloaf, allowing it to melt.
  • Once done, remove the meatloaf from the crockpot, slice, and serve.

Notes

For a well-rounded meal, serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
