  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Swiss cheese for topping Provolone or cheddar can be used for different flavors.
  • French onion soup (optional) This adds a unique flavor profile.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and French onion soup if using.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the Crockpot.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, add slices of Swiss cheese on top to melt.

Serving

  • Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, buttery corn, a crisp green salad, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Let the meatloaf cool completely before storing in an airtight container. It will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven at 350°F.
