  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk For added moisture.
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup French onion soup Infuses deep flavor.
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese Used to top the meatloaf.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, and eggs. Mix well until combined.
  • Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the crockpot.
  • Pour the French onion soup over the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • During the last 30 minutes of cooking, place slices of Swiss cheese on top to melt.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf, slice, and serve.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, consider serving it with a tangy barbecue or steak sauce on the side. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing to maintain its juiciness.
