Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 units eggs
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese Sprinkle on top just before serving.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, and French onion soup mix. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top of the meatloaf and cover to allow cheese to melt.

Serving

  • Once done, slice and serve hot.

Notes

Pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes, garden salad, or crusty bread. Can be customized with favorite seasonings or vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
