Ingredients
  

For the Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs Feel free to use homemade meatballs that are fully cooked.
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 whole bell pepper, chopped You can use different colored bell peppers for variety.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, cornstarch, and water to create the sweet and sour sauce.
  • Place frozen meatballs, pineapple, and chopped bell pepper in a crock pot.
  • Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the meatballs and vegetables.
  • Stir to combine, then cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months. To reheat, microwave or warm on the stove.
