Ingredients
  

Meat Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced

Base Ingredients

  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (10 oz)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 block cream cheese (16 oz)
  • 1/2 cup milk

Cheese Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Seasoning Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

To Taste

  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • In the Crock Pot, combine the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, and milk.
  • Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 4 hours or until the cheese is melted and the dip is creamy.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For spicier dip, add additional diced jalapeƱos or hot sauce. You can substitute ground turkey and low-fat cheese for a healthier option. Can be made vegetarian by omitting meat and adding more vegetables.
