  • 1 lb ground beef You can use turkey as a substitute for a leaner option.
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed You can use other melting cheeses if preferred.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies Adds spiciness and flavor.
  • 1 package cream cheese For creaminess.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can use sharp or mild cheddar based on preference.

Seasoning Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Fresh garlic adds the best flavor.
  • 0.5 cup onion, diced Use any onion variety you prefer.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the cooked beef, Velveeta, diced tomatoes with green chilies, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crock pot.
  • Stir everything together until combined.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheeses are melted and everything is heated through.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or bread.

Notes

Tips: Feel free to adjust the taco seasoning to suit your taste. For a spicier kick, add jalapeƱos or hot sauce. You can also add chorizo, black beans, or corn for variation.
