  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
  • 1 jar (14 oz) pizza sauce Use a good-quality pizza sauce for the best taste.
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded Feel free to add more mozzarella on top before serving.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Add extra for serving if desired.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the beef mixture, cooked pasta, pizza sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to mix well.
  4. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until heated through and cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Crock Pot Pizza Casserole is best served hot. Pairs well with a simple green salad or garlic bread. You can customize the ingredients based on your taste by adding pepperoni, mushrooms, or olives for extra flavor.
