- In a crock pot, combine milk, heavy cream, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is fully melted and everything is combined.
- Serve hot in mugs and top with marshmallows if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pour back into the crock pot on low heat or microwave in short intervals. For longer storage, consider freezing in individual portions.
