  • 10.75 ounce cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 ounce French onion soup
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup water You can use beef broth for a richer flavor.
  • 4 pieces cubed steaks

Preparation

  • In a slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, au jus gravy mix, and water. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add the cubed steaks into the slow cooker, making sure they are covered by the soup mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steaks are tender.
  • Serve the cubed steak with the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sliced mushrooms or onions to the slow cooker. For thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce during the last hour of cooking.
