  • 2 pieces flatbreads or naan breads (200 g / 7 oz total)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 200 g Brie cheese, sliced (7 oz)
  • 1 piece ripe pear, thinly sliced (180 g / 6.3 oz)
  • 1/3 cup pecans, roughly chopped (40 g / 1.4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (120 g / 4.2 oz)
  • to taste Fresh thyme or rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
  • to taste Freshly cracked black pepper (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly brush the flatbreads with olive oil on both sides and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Arrange the Brie cheese slices evenly over the surface of each flatbread.
  4. Top with thin pear slices and sprinkle the chopped pecans generously.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the flatbread is crisp, and the Brie is melted.
  2. Drizzle the cranberry sauce over the warm flatbread right after it comes out of the oven.
  3. Finish with fresh herbs and cracked black pepper if desired.
  4. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
