  • 2 large potatoes You can also use sweet potatoes, beets, or zucchini.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and peel the potatoes. Use a mandoline slicer or knife to cut them into thin slices, about 1/16 inch thick.
  • Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes.
  • Drain the slices and pat them dry with a clean towel.
  • Place the dried slices in a bowl. Add salt and any other spices, then toss well to coat.
  • Arrange the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Check halfway through and flip the chips for even crispiness.
  • Once they are golden and crispy, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Store chips in an airtight container at room temperature. Best enjoyed within a few days for maximum freshness. Keep an eye on the chips while baking to prevent burning.
