  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese You can use Monterey Jack or pepper jack as alternatives.
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
Jalapeños
  • 2-3 pieces fresh jalapeños, finely diced Remove the seeds for a milder flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and softened cream cheese. Stir until well blended.
  3. Carefully fold in the diced jalapeños, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the cheesy mixture.
Baking
  1. Scoop out a portion of the mixture and roll it into a small ball. Place these on a greased baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
  2. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
  3. Let them cool for a few minutes before relishing every perfect bite!

Notes

Pair with avocado dip, sour cream, or salsa for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
