Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 whole 1 whole wheel of brie (about 8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 large 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Neutral oil for frying Use a high smoke point oil.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat neutral oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Dredge the brie in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat it in panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Carefully place the breaded brie in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from oil and let it drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with hot honey drizzled on top.

Notes

For leftovers, store any unconsumed crispy brie in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 5-10 minutes. Freezing is not recommended.
