  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (spray or drizzle) For added crispiness.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (parsley or chives, optional, for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Set up three bowls with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  • Roll Boursin cheese in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  • Place the coated cheese onto the lined baking sheet.
  • Spray or drizzle lightly with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs.
  • Serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes until warmed through. For freezing, ensure it’s well-wrapped in plastic wrap and aluminum foil, then thaw overnight before reheating. Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor.
