For the wonton cups
  • 12 pieces wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray Cooking spray For greasing the muffin tin
For the filling
  • 0.5 lb ground beef Can substitute with turkey or plant-based options
  • 0.5 cup cooked macaroni
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can try other cheeses like pepper jack or mozzarella
  • 0.25 cup crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 0.25 cup diced onion
  • 0.25 cup diced tomatoes
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup to form a small cup.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef with macaroni, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, diced onion, and diced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  5. Spoon this delicious mixture into each wonton cup until filled to the top.
  6. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the wontons are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
