  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim off the stem ends. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.

Cooking

  • In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper until well coated. Add garlic powder or fresh minced garlic for extra flavor if desired.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the Brussels sprouts cut-side down in a single layer.
  • Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through. For extra crunch, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar or maple syrup if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

To maintain crispness when storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to retain texture.
