  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 6 pieces green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half and half
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth or no sodium added

  • Prepare the rotini pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
