Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Pasta and Sauce
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Don’t skimp on garlic for rich flavor
  • Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  2. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combining
  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions, then drain and add to the sauce.
  2. Toss in the cooked chicken and mix until well coated.
  3. Serve warm, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For a wholesome meal, serve with a garden salad and garlic bread. Add extra Parmesan on top for an indulgent touch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
