  • 2 large cucumbers Peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 cup sour cream Can be substituted with Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For a lighter dressing, reduce amount or substitute
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill Chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

Preparation

  • Peel the cucumbers and slice them thinly.
  • In a large bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and fresh dill.
  • Add the sliced cucumbers to the dressing and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This salad is great as a side dish for grilled meats, sandwiches, or potlucks. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
