Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture

  • 8 ounces Goat cheese Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Adjust to taste.

Add-ins and Coating

  • 1/2 cup Pecans, chopped Chop finely.
  • 1/2 cup Cranberries, chopped Chop finely.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Add for flavoring.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together goat cheese, cream cheese, and honey until smooth.
  • Chop the pecans and cranberries finely.
  • Add chopped pecans and cranberries to the mixture along with a pinch of cinnamon, and mix well.
  • Form the mixture into small balls or truffles.
  • Roll the cheese balls in remaining chopped pecans or cranberries if desired.
  • Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve these cheese balls on a platter with toothpicks for easy eating. Pair them with crackers or slices of bread. For extra flavor, drizzle honey on top or serve with fresh fruit. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about three days.
