Ingredients
  

Dough and Cheese
  • 1 pound pizza dough Use homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 sticks string cheese
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce Can be replaced with your favorite pizza sauce.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For garnish.
Garlic Oil Mixture
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust for spice preference.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large circle.
  3. Place the string cheese sticks around the outer edge of the dough.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese sticks, pinching to seal the crust.
  5. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the garlic oil mixture generously over the crust.
  7. Spread marinara sauce in the center, leaving the stuffed crust untouched.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese bubbles invitingly.
  10. Once out of the oven, top with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
