  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
For the topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions and prepare a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake according to the package instructions.
Adding Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Take the cake out of the oven and poke holes throughout the cake using a skewer or fork.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the cinnamon sugar mixture, allowing it to sink into the holes.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
Topping
  1. After cooling, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top of the cake.
  2. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or chilled, topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days or frozen for three months.
