Preparation

  • Soften the cream cheese and butter until at room temperature.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Mix using an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
  • Add in the ground cinnamon and vanilla extract. Whip on medium speed until the mixture is creamy.
  • Taste the frosting and adjust the sweetness or cinnamon level as desired.
  • If the frosting is too soft, refrigerate for 15-30 minutes until firmer.

Notes

This frosting can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to a week. Re-whip before use to restore texture.
