Christmas Ribbon Salad

Ingredients
  

For the Jell-O layers
  • 2 packages lime Jell-O
  • 5 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1 block cream cheese Use room temperature for smooth blending.
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 package lemon Jell-O
  • 2 packages cherry Jell-O

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, dissolve lime Jell-O in hot water. Allow it to cool slightly before refrigerating.
  2. Once slightly firm, blend the cream cheese into the lime Jell-O until smooth. Fold in mini marshmallows and pineapple juice.
  3. Pour into a mold or dish and refrigerate until fully set.
  4. Prepare lemon Jell-O according to package instructions and layer it on top of the lime layer once set.
  5. Finally, prepare cherry Jell-O and pour over the lemon layer. Allow to set completely in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Make sure to let each layer set completely before adding the next for clean layers. For added texture, consider folding in crushed nuts or coconut into the lime layer. Experiment with different flavors of Jell-O to create unique versions.
