Ingredients

For the Reindeer Crack
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Can substitute with milk chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract For a wintery flavor
  • 1/2 cup red and green festive sprinkles For decoration
  • 50 pieces mini candy eyes
  • 50 pieces mini red candy-coated chocolates For noses

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pretzel sticks in a single layer.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the peppermint extract to your melted chocolate and mix well.
  4. Drizzle the white chocolate over the pretzel sticks, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Quickly sprinkle the festive sprinkles over the melted chocolate before it sets.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, place two candy eyes near the top of each pretzel stick.
  7. Pop a mini red candy on each pretzel as the nose, just below the eyes.
  8. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to speed up hardening.
  9. Once set, gently peel off the reindeer crack from the parchment and serve on a festive plate.

Notes

If desired, crushed candy canes can replace sprinkles for added peppermint flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
