Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
Cooking
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until the mixture is combined and bubbly.
- Pour the butter mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly across the surface.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the hot mixture.
- Allow it to sit for a few minutes until the chocolate is soft, then spread it evenly over the top.
- Let the entire pan cool completely before breaking it into pieces.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a tightly sealed container. Thaw at room temperature before enjoying.
